Uttlesford District Council at a Cabinet meeting held on 29 November 2018 recommended that Thaxted Neighbourhood Plan proceed to Referendum.

The referendum is to be held on 24th January 2019, at Bolford Street Hall.

Thaxted residents have helped to develop this Neigbourhood Plan through surveys and open events etc. It is now important that the Community has its say on the adoption of the Neighbourhood Plan.
